Let Me Introduce You...

I don't know how many of you remember me mentioning I was taking in a kitten that was abused. My little girl was found abandoned in a lawn after someone had poured acid on her and burnt off the pads of her feet. She was one week old. Now seven weeks old and healthy, she is a functional (and adorable part of our family.

We named her... Katniss because like her name sake, she is a survivor and the toughest little thing we've ever seen.

  1. That kitten is so very very cute, and I love that you named her Katniss - that's perfect! So sad & awful what they did to her, but it's great that you're giving her a much better home :)

Why do people do horrible things like that to sweet innocent(AAAADORABLE!) creatures!? I will never understand it. It's disgusting. But you are a wonderful person for taking her and giving her the love she deserves!

  10. Aww she is the most adorable kitten ever! And her name is perfect. I love it. That's so horrible that someone could do that to a baby of any animal, let alone a kitten as adorable as that. I'm glad she found someone willing to care for her! Go you. :)

  12. That is just too cruel, I almost started crying when I heard of the poor kittens misfortune. :(

However, it is wonderful that she is doing well with you. What a proper name! It sure does fit! I wish you and Katniss well.

I'll be rescuing a cat once I get moved into my new place next month.

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
