FCSS Week 3: Waiting on Wedneaday (21): Original Sin by Lisa Desrochers

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine where you can post about upcoming books you're looking forward to.

This is a wonderful chance for blogger to show off what's coming out soon that they are excited about! Every week my wishlist balloons thanks to this awesome meme.

Original Sin by Lisa Desrochers

When secrets and old histories come to light, Frannie realizes that nobody is who she thought they were. Hell won’t give up and Heaven won’t give in. Some are willing to hurt anyone close to Frannie in order to get what they want. It will take everything she has and then some to stay out of Hell's grasp.

And not everyone will get out of it alive.

I love this new cover and the first novel really intrigued me. It's in my TBR pile right now and I know without a doubt that I'll be getting the sequel.

Original Sin is out July 5, 2011.

Did you do a sequel for your Wow? Post it up here (as well as the other place of course. This is just for points all week)

  1. I have Personal Demons on my list and I'm excited to start it. I've read mixed reviews, but the premise sounds really interesting so I'm still looking forward to it and I'm sure I'll be picking up this sequel as well! Love the cover:)

  2. I love that cover too! I haven't read book 1 but I hope to soon!

  3. This does look promising...hope you enjoy it.

  4. How to Knit a Heart Back Home
    By Rachael Herron
    Publication date: March 1, 2011

Lucy Harrison sells books by day and volunteers with the Cypress Hollow fire department by night. Her life is just the way she likes it—full, even-keeled, and smooth—until bad-boy ex-cop Owen Bancroft comes back to town. Lucy has always been fearless, never scared about diving in to help others. When it comes to risking her heart, however, she realizes she's absolutely terrified.

In a small town like Cypress Hollow, everyone knows your business—and there is nowhere to hide. Then Lucy and Owen are thrown together by the discovery of the lost work of local legend, knitting guru Eliza Carpenter. Now Owen, adrift and struggling to redefine himself as a civilian without a badge, will have to learn how to open himself up to life's new possibilities . . . while Lucy decides just how much of herself she's willing to gamble on love.

  5. I have not read Personal Demons yet. It is sitting on the bookshelf waiting for me to read it! I love the sequels cover... so I better get reading before this one comes out! Thanks for sharing.

  6. This sounds really good, just added the whole series to my tbr

    Happy Holidays

    My WOW

  7. I still need to read the first book but it seems interesting.

  8. I enjoyed the first one and can't wait for this one.

  9. I've just started to read Personal Demons but I liked Original Sin cover much more!

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
