Skylar decides to put a little bit of clam juice in Gabby's face cream. While she is there, she sees that Pierce is IMing Gabby. Skylar tells Pierce as Gabby to start talking to her on Skylar's IM name and Skylar decides that she will meet with Pierce in Gabby's place. Gabby comes out and tells Skylar she is waiting for Em to pick her up for a movie and Skylar leaves. Meanwhile, Em is at a coffee house and runs into Crow. Crow gives her a c.d. and then Drea texts her to come over for a bit. At Drea's house, Drea tells her that she is close to the banishing spell and it involves fire. Em asks Drea why she is so obbsessed with the Furies and Drea reveals that she believes her mother was killed by them after being found in a meat cooler frozen to death.

Em realizes she is late for the movie and excuses herself to go get Gabby but she realizes she missed a bunch of Gabby's texts. Em goes to Gabby's house even though the last text she got told her not to and is worried when Gabby doesn't answer her cell, the door or the house phone. She lets herself in the back and finds Gabby on the floor, close to dead from an allergic reaction. Em calls 911 and gets her to the hospital where she recovers. Skylar feels guilty and visits Gabby, stopping by Gabby's house after to get the face cream. Even though Skylar was hoping Gabby being gone would take her out of people's minds, it only makes people think about Gabby more.

Skylar decides to meet Pierce anyway and gets all dressed up. Meg gives her a ride to school where Pierce shows up thinking it is Gabby there. She tells Pierce how she feels and Pierce rejects her as nicely as he can, telling her he likes Gabby before leaving. Skylar is upset but doesn't have time to dwell on it as the large skylight in the cafeteria breaks, covering her with glass and knocking her out. Em goes to visit Skylar in the hospital and Skylar says she should have listened to Em and that she is sorry for hurting her sister Gabby. Em blames the pain pills Skylar for getting mixed up but decides the Furies were behind this and that she needs to go to the school dance. She gets ready and sets off.

Through a drug induced dream, Skylar remembers her last pagenant where Lucy was being mean to her. She gets so mad at her sister that she breaks Lucy's heels and glues them back together, knowing they will bust during her talent portion. Lucy goes out on stage and falls, slicing her head open and causing severe brain damage. Skylar is torn with guilt of putting her sister in a recovery faculty for life and for hurting Gabby but the guilt is lessened when Lucy walks into Skylar's room as beautiful as ever. Skylar thinks it might be Ali (one of the Furies) but settles on it being Lucy instead and lets Lucy (who is actually Ali) lead her out of the hospital and to the dance.

Em arrives at the dance and finds JD. They dance and she tries to tell him how she feels about him but it doesn't come out right and Crow grabs her before she can explain, He tells her Drea is coming and she is obsessed to the point of madness just as the lights go out. Skylar enters the gym with a mask on but she has so many drugs in her sister that she trips and the mask comes off. People begin screaming in horror at her ruined face and she runs out of the room, knocking over a trashcan and locking everyone inside. Drea is in the gym and begins to start the fire ritual. Em gets mad because Drea is risking everyone to do it and tries to stop Drea but Ty appears and Em is forced to fight her instead. The gym is completely up in flames when Ty disappears and Em tries to get Drea out but Drea refuses and Em hits her head.

JD comes to get Em, carrying her to safety as the firefighters get on scene. They try to go in for Drea but the gym collapses with Drea still inside. Em goes to the hospital but is completely fine though she shouldn't be. That night, Crow sneaks in through her window and tells her that she and Drea were after different things. That Drea was doing an excorism but she was trying to excorise Em, not the Furies. Em connects what has been happening to her but she asks Crow to confirm it anyway. Crow tells her that Em is becoming a Fury.
