The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
Meghan Chase has never fit in at her small-town high school, and now, on the eve of her 16th birthday, she discovers why. When her half brother is kidnapped, Meghan is drawn into a fantastical world she never imagined--the world of Faery, where anything you see may try to eat you, and Meghan is the daughter of the summer faery king. Now she will journey into the depths of Faery to face an unknown enemy . . . and beg the help of a winter prince who might as soon kill her as let her touch his icy heart. The Iron King is the first book in the Iron Fey series.
I worry that I might be the only person who reads YA who hasn't read this series. I'd never even looked at it until I started blogging and all I heard are good things so I MUST get this novel soon so I can see for myself what all the fuss is about. I also need to figure out if I'm Team Puck or Team Ash.
So what about you? What do you hope to see underneath your Christmas tree?

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!
This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!

I only read YA once in a while but I have heard of this book and wouldn't mind adding it to my wish list either. Good choice! You can look at my pick this week here

Puck is way better. Just sayin'. :D
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I really liked your review of Give Up The Ghost, it sounded like you really enjoyed it! Love it when that gets conveyed in a review.
Sounds interesting...although I don't read much YA. Here's mine: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2010/10/all-i-want-for-christmas-2.html
