Cover Reveals

Here a few recent reveals that will steal your breath away!

Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock

Mackenzie and Amy were best friends. Until Amy was brutally murdered.
Since then, Mac’s life has been turned upside down. She is being haunted by Amy in her dreams, and an extremist group called the Trackers has come to Mac’s hometown of Hemlock to hunt down Amy’s killer: A white werewolf.
Lupine syndrome—also known as the werewolf virus—is on the rise across the country. Many of the infected try to hide their symptoms, but bloodlust is not easy to control.
Wanting desperately to put an end to her nightmares, Mac decides to investigate Amy’s murder herself. She discovers secrets lurking in the shadows of Hemlock, secrets about Amy’s boyfriend, Jason, her good pal Kyle, and especially her late best friend. Mac is thrown into a maelstrom of violence and betrayal that puts her life at risk.
Kathleen Peacock’s thrilling novel is the first in the Hemlock trilogy, a spellbinding urban fantasy series filled with provocative questions about prejudice, trust, lies, and love.
Hemlock is out 2012 by Katherine Tegen Books.

The Alchemy of Forever by Avery Williams

Seraphina’s first love made her immortal…her second might get her killed. Incarnation is a new series that introduces a fresh mythology perfect for fans of bestselling series like The Immortals by Alyson Noel and Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
After spending six hundred years on earth, Seraphina Ames has seen it all. Eternal life provides her with the world’s riches, but at a very high price: innocent lives. Centuries ago, her boyfriend, Cyrus, discovered a method of alchemy that allows them to swap bodies with other humans, jumping from one vessel to the next, taking the human’s life in the process. No longer able to bear the guilt of what she’s done, Sera escapes from Cyrus and vows to never kill again.
Then sixteen-year-old Kailey Morgan gets into a horrific car accident right in front of her, and Sera accidentally takes over her body. For the first time, Sera finds herself enjoying the life of the person she’s inhabiting—and falls for the human boy who lives next door. But Cyrus will stop at nothing until she’s his again, and every moment she stays, she’s putting herself and the people she’s grown to care for in great danger. Will Sera have to give up the one thing that’s eluded her for centuries: true love?
The Alchemy of Forever is out January 3, 2012 from Simon & Schuster.

The Treachery of Beautiful Things by Ruth Frances Long
Sadly, there is nothing on this one yet but I read somewhere that it's about fairies. That makes sense looking at this cover. We'll see!
The Treachery of Beautiful Things is August 16, 2012 from Penguin Group USA.

What do you think of the new covers and books to look forward to?

  1. Ohh, I haven't heard of The Treachery of Beautiful Things before! The cover is so pretty! Thanks Amber! *dashes off to add to Goodreads shelf*

  2. The Alchemy of Forever looks great, I'm actually really interested! Awesome, Amber. :)

  3. Hemlock is the only one I've heard of before, but all three of these are fantastic! Definitely will be adding Treachery and Alchemy to my wishlist!!

Oh, the Alchemy of Forever actually sounds a little like the book I just finished, Juliet Immortal.

  4. Hemlock looks good, and I love the title of The Treachery of Beautiful Things even though books about fairies aren't normally my thing.

  5. These three books have such beautiful covers. Looking forward to finding out what the Treachery of Beautiful Things is really about!

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
