Teaser Tuesday 87: Wake by Amanda Hocking

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, just do as following:

-Grab your current read
-Open to a random page

Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that pageBe careful not to include any spoilers so as not to ruin the book for others!Make sure to share the title and the author so other TT participants can add the book to their TBR piles!

Wake by Amanda Hocking
"Every man would fall in love with their voice, their lovely appearance, but no man would ever get past that. They'd never really know the girls for who they actually were, never really love them. It would be impossible for any of the four girls to ever really fall in love and be genuinely loved in return."
--Pg. 171 of "Wake" by Amanda Hocking

It's taking me a while to get through this novel but not because it isn't great. I've just been writing my own novel so that has been the reason. If you are a fan of Ms. Hocking, get this book. Even if you aren't a fan, get this book because the writing is really good. I like the characters and the plot and can't wait to see where it is all going to go.

What's your teaser?

  1. I haven't read anything by Hocking even though she is sort of a local author for me. There are just too many good books available that I can't read them all. My teasers are from Dead Ringer by Allen Wyler and Innocent Darkness by Suzanne Lazear. Happy reading!

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
