Why I need this: Fan of The Hunger Games? Why yes I am! This novel looks so good in the way Across The Universe looked good. I am looking to fill my YA sci-fi quota and this amazing little beauty will definitely do the trick! Plus, I Think that cover is stunning in a that simple beauty sort of way!

Enshadowed (Nevermore #2) by Kelly Creagh

While Varen remains a prisoner in the dream-world, Isobel is haunted by his memory. He appears to her in her dreams and soon, even in her waking life. But is she just imagining it? Why I need this: I was positive I needed the first one and though I haven't read it, I'm positive I need this one too. I've heard amazing things about it and can't wait for this sequel. Plus, that cover is gorgeous! You know how pretty it's going to look next to my copy of Nevermore! 


Enshadowed is out January 24, 2012 from Atheneum. 

Dark of the Moon by Tracy Barrett

Ariadne is destined to become a goddess of the moon. She leads a lonely life, finding companionship only with her beloved, misshapen brother Asterion, who must be held captive below the palace for his own safety.

Why I Need This: Talk about one tricky dilemma. You just CAN'T fall in love with the guy that's destined to kill or be killed by your brother. Tha't just horrible. I can't wait to see how this one plays out!

I defy everyone not to fall in love with this amazing novel cover and the summary. I'm reading The Body Finder right now and really enjoying it so I can't wait to get into another series by the wonderful Ms. Derting. Plus, have you seen this amazing cover. I can't stop staring.

How flipping cool does this story sound? It reminds me a bit of a modern day Romeo & Juliet story with two feuding families but you actually get to know why the families are feuding. You can't pick who you fall in love with. I've read a few positive reviews about this one and would love to see it under my tree.

Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan

So begins the latest whirlwind romance from the New York Times bestselling authors of Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Lily has left a red notebook full of challenges on a favorite bookstore shelf, waiting for just the right guy to come along and accept its dares. But is Dash that right guy? For the most part, I've heard really good things about this novel. I think the premise of a guy and a girl daring each other is really fun and I've read a teaser in Dash's POV that really stuck with me so that makes this novel even more appealing. It definitely helps that I'm a huge Nick & Norah fan.

I've seen this novel around on a lot of blog getting really great reviews and I follow the author who is super sweet. Plus I love that the author is a fad of supernatural and when asked about what type of cover she said "give me Sam's head on Dean's body". That's priceless! The summary makes an attractive book even better. Hoping to find this one under my tree!

Intrigue? Check! Romance? Check! Far off places, daring sword fights, a prince in disguise? Well, not exactly but it evokes the same sort of feeling as what Belle was trying to say. This book sounds exciting and even though I'm not wild about the cover, I love the summary and am really hoping to see this one underneath my tree.

I'm pretty sure that the cover and summary are self explanatory. This one actually comes out January 11th but I want to see a print out from Amazon.com saying this book is pre-ordered and will be waiting on my doorstep. The concept is so fresh and I can't wait to read it!

I worry that I might be the only person who reads YA who hasn't read this series. I'd never even looked at it until I started blogging and all I heard are good things so I MUST get this novel soon so I can see for myself what all the fuss is about. I also need to figure out if I'm Team Puck or Team Ash.

The cover is gorgeous, the summary is awesome and all the reviews I've read have raved about this one. In short, if I don't have this novel in my hands on or before Christmas, I'll probably cry!
