Waiting on Wednesday (26): The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine where you can post about upcoming books you're looking forward to.

This is a wonderful chance for blogger to show off what's coming out soon that they are excited about! Every week my wishlist balloons thanks to this awesome meme.

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

It's always been just Kate and her mom--and now her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear her mother won't live past the fall.

Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld--and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.

Kate is sure he's crazy--until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she'll become Henry's future bride, and a goddess.

If she fails...

Sorry about this tiny picture but this novel sounds incredible! I love Greek mythology so it feels like this one was tailor made for me. Plus, that's quite a dilemma for Kate to have. We don't see to many present day YA with family members dying so I'm interested to see how that affects the story. Even though it's a sucky small picture, I'm in love with this cover and I really hope it is the final version.

The Goddess Test comes out April 19th.

What are you looking forward to?

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
