Halo by Alexandra Adornetto

Three angels – Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, the youngest and most human – are sent by Heaven to bring good to a world falling under the influence of darkness. They must work hard to conceal their luminous glow, superhuman powers, and, most dangerous of all, their wings, all the while avoiding all human attachments.

Then Bethany meets Xavier Woods, and neither of them is able to resist the attraction between them. Gabriel and Ivy do everything in their power to intervene, but the bond between Xavier and Bethany seems too strong.
The angel’s mission is urgent, and dark forces are threatening. Will love ruin Bethany or save her?
This is another one of those books that I was so dang excited about when it came out but I still haven't had time to read it. I love the cover and I think the concept sounds great because I love angel books but  it's been sitting on my shelf for forever. I went out in bought the sequel. I'm just hoping I have time to read them sometime soon. I'm almost finished with my ARC pile through October and then I'll have more time to dedicate.

So what has been in your pile for way too long?

  1. Oh I so need to read this one!
I was actually really excited about it but then I heard a lot of bad things about it in one so decided not too =(
I think I should ignore that and make up my own mind!

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
