YALLfest 2012!

I've talked about it before but I thought I'd make another announcement. Last year, I went to YALLfest and had an absolute blast. There were so many wonderful authors there and the panels were interesting and I got to meet a lot of really wonderful people.

I just booked my hotel for this year's event so it is on! I can't wait to go back and see all the authors from last year and all the new ones that have joined for this year. There is a complete list here but these are the ones I'm looking forward to and the books I'll be bringing along (in my magic rolling suitcase):

  • Jennifer Lynn Barnes- Raised By Wolves, Trial By Fire & Every Other Day
  • Holly Black- White Cat
  • Sarah Rees Brennan- Unspoken
  • Kiera Cass- The Selection
  • Cassandra Clare- City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince
  • Andrea Cremer- Bloodrose and Rift
  • Kimberly Derting- The Last Echo
  • Simone Elkeles- Perfect Chemistry and Rules of Attraction
  • Gayle Forman- If I Stay and Where She Went
  • Jenny Han- The Summer I Turned Pretty and It's Not Summer Without You
  • Tonya Hurley- Ghostgirl and Ghostgirl: Homecoming
  • Michele Jaffe- Rosebush
  • Wendy Mass- A Mango-Shaped Space
  • Alyson Noel- Fated
  • Stephanie Perkins- Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door
  • Diana Peterfruend- For Darkness Shows the Stars
  • Beth Revis- A Millon Suns
  • Jessica Rothenberg- The Catastrophic History of Me and You
  • Siobhan Vivian- Burn For Burn ARC
Books I need to buy:
  • Elizabeth Eulberg- Take A Bow
  • Kami Garcia and Maragret Stohl- Beautiful Chaos
  • Michelle Hodkin- The Evolution of Mara Dyer
  • David Levithan- Every Day
  • Carrie Ryan- Foretold
  • Siobhan Vivian & Jenny Han- Burn For Burn
  • Robin Wasserman- The Book of Blood and Shadow
As you can see, I have quite a few books to tote around with me. I'm honestly just glad I went last year since I had a whole bunch more then.

What I want to know is if you are planning to go to YALLfest. I mentioned last year that it would be really fun to get a group of bloggers together for dinner. Last year after the YA Smackdown, I had dinner with The Reading Angel and it was so much fun. It'd be so cool to get a big group so we can talk about books. Let me know!

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
