Happily Ever After...Happy Birthday To Me by Brian Rowe

Happily Ever Endings... was born out of sheer frustration. You know how when you read a series and you love it but the last book takes a little while to come out and then you sort of forget parts of the novel? That's what these posts are going to serve to remedy. Happily Ever Ending... is a short post about what happened at the ending of each book that is going to be in a series for people who need a quick reminder of what happened in the previous installment. I hope this saves someone else the frustration that I went through!

Happy Birthday To Me by Brian Rowe
Seventeen-year-old Cameron Martin has a huge problem: he’s aging a whole year of his life with each passing day!
High school is hard enough; imagine rapidly aging from seventeen to seventy in a matter of weeks, with no logical explanation, and with prom, graduation, and the state championship basketball game all on the horizon. That’s what happens to Cameron, a popular pretty boy who's never had to face a day looking anything but perfect.
All Cameron wants to do is go back to normal, but no one, not even the best doctors, can diagnose his condition. When he finds love with a mysterious young woman, however, he realizes his only hope for survival might be with the one person who started his condition in the first place...

Cameron plans to go to prom with Liesel. He goes to pick her up but she doesn't answer. He decides to get drunk and crash prom. There he sees Wes filming him and Ryan and Charisma dancing. He confronts them and Ryan and he get into a fight. Ryan pushes him into the punch bowl and Wes films the whole thing. Cameron gets made and knocks Wes's camera to the ground. The librarian rescues Cameron and takes him back to her house. There, she tries to seduce him but Cameron runs away. He gets a message and goes to see Liesel who sings happy birthday to him. She confesses she put a curse on him. Cameron doesn't believe her and leaves.
He avoids everyone at school accept Wes who tells him he had insurance on his camera. Cameron continues to grow older everyday and Wes finally admits it's too hard to be around him. Later, Cameron gets his acceptance letter to Yale, his parents tell them they are proud and he cries because he knows he won't live to see it. Liesel makes everything in a classroom levitate and together, they decide to keep trying to heal him. Cameron feels so old the day of his big game he decides not to go. The librarian kicks him out of his hiding spot and makes him go cheer his teammates on. There, Ryan apologizes for acting like a jerk. The game comes down to two shots and Ryan tells the coach to let Cameron make them. Cameron lands both shots but has a heart attack in the middle of the gym.
After being rushed to the hospital, he decides to sneak out to see his sister's recital since he promised he'd go. Her performance is beautiful and it makes his sister happy. The next few days Cameron goes down hill and by 85, he knows he is going to die. His family says goodbye for the night (Cameron knows he won't last until morning) and Wes gives him his movie he made which is just a bunch of pictures of them together. Later that night, Liesel comes in and the room is engulfed in light as she sings happy birthday. Cameron passes out.
He awakes and they rush to a mirror. In the girl's restroom, Cameron looks at himself in the mirror and realizes he's 17 again. He and Liesel kiss and run back to his room. Cameron's family comes and rejoices with him. He gets to walk hand and hand with Liesel to graduate and everyone cheers him on. He and Liesel kiss and he reveals in the feeling until they realize there is no more noise. Everyone is looking at them as they levitate 20 feet in the air.
