There You'll Find Me by Jenny B Jones
In There You’ll Find Me, Finley is a senior and spending the year in Ireland in a foreign exchange program. She is trying to come back from a devastating loss, but pretty much failing. While she stays with her host family, who own a B&B, she meets Beckett Rush, the hottest teen actor in Hollywood and star of a series of popular vampire films. While Finley tours the countryside, determined to walk in the same steps her brother did when he was there years ago, she finds her stay in Ireland not nearly as inspiring. Between an assignment that has her babysitting a cranky old woman with troubles of her own and working as Beckett’s personal assistant against her wishes and her good judgment, Finley is finding little time to do the healing God is calling her to do. And little time to deal with the secrets from her own past that threaten to pull her under. Why I need this: Well, first there is that stunningly gorgeous cover. Everything she has on makes me think of Ireland. Which brings me to my next point... Ireland! I am in hearts and kisses with everything Ireland (an Irish accent is the equivalent of an eargasm). I can't wait to be there with Finley and meet Beckett (both characters have rockin' names)!
There You'll Find Me comes out October 8, 2011 from Thomas Nelson.
Illuminated by Erica Orloff
An epic romance full of mysteries that transcend time—fans of Romeo and Juliet and The Time Traveler’s Wife will rejoice!
Some loves are not made to last . . . Like Romeo and Juliet, Heloise and Abelard were doomed from the start, and their romance was destined to pass into history. Yet when sixteen-year-old Callie Martin discovers a diary hidden within an antique book, their story—and hers—takes on another life. For the diary leads Callie to the brilliant and handsome August, who is just as mysterious as the secret the diary hides. Their attraction is undeniable. As the two hunt down the truth behind the diary—and that of Heloise and Abelard’s ancient romance—their romance becomes all-consuming. But Callie knows it can’t last . . . love never does. Will their love that burns as bright as a shooting star flame out, or will these star-crossed lovers be able to defy history? Why I need this: This looks incredible. I've always been a fan of Romeo & Juliet and I think this one looks amazing!
Illuminated is coming December 8, 2011 from Speak.
