All I Want For Christmas Is... (1)

This is a great new meme created by Danya over at A Tapestry of Words. I'm a little late but I wanted to join in the fun. Hop over to her site on Thursdays and join in the fun!

Matched by Allie Condie

In the Society, Officials decide. Who you love. Where you work. When you die.

Cassia has always trusted their choices. It’s barely any price to pay for a long life, the perfect job, the ideal mate. So when her best friend appears on the Matching screen, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is the one . . . until she sees another face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black. Now Cassia is faced with impossible choices: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she’s known and a path no one else has ever dared follow—between perfection and passion.

Matched is a story for right now and storytelling with the resonance of a classic.

I honestly cant think of a single reason why I wouldn't want this book though if I'm being honest, I won't be waiting till Christmas to snag myself a copy. The cover is gorgeous, the summary is awesome and all the reviews I've read have raved about this one. In short, if I don't have this novel in my hands on or before Christmas, I'll probably cry!

  1. Hey Amber, thanks so much for linking up and joining in! Matched is definitely one of the books I am most looking forward to as well...I know, I'm wondering whether I can make myself wait until Christmas before buying it!! Soooo jealous of all the people that got ARCs of this one.

  2. I've heard mixed reviews about this one, so I don't know if I'll be reading it any time soon.

The cover is absolutely gorgeous, though!

Thinking of writing something below? Well, that's why you are awesome! I always love feedback!

This blog is an award free zone. With the demand of a full time job, blogging time is becoming much more precious and I just don't have the time to meet the demands of awards. Thanks so much for thinking of me anyway!
